There is beauty to be found everywhere on the TAMIU campus. From the manicured grounds and uniformed architecture, it is easy to see why so many Laredoans get bit by the love bug while on campus. Jaime and Cynthia were no different. They have one of the cutest stories and it all starts on the A&M campus. They hold their humble relationship beginning dear and it’s no wonder why they wanted TAMIU to be the setting for their engagement photos. They are two very laid back individuals and wanted their photos to reflect that. Here are a few of the photos we felt showed their laid back attitude and the love for each other and the campus they hold so dear to their hearts.
Sherwood Portrait Session
August 31st, 2010We love being Laredoans. Laredo has a beautiful culture, rich history and the food is to die for!!! We chose to plant our roots here and vowed to take every opportunity to showcase the beauty of our beloved city. Such an opportunity arose recently when we were asked to help out these three lovely young ladies.
All three of them are Alexander High School Dazzlers; the oldest holds the esteemed title of Squad Captain. A family achievement such as this is hard to come by and they wanted to celebrate the occasion with a photo session. Since each girl is so vastly different than the other, it was a welcomed challenge to find a location that would not only show their individual personalities but have the photos all complement each other as well. With a location in mind, it was truly a race against time to shoot four different sessions in between down pouring rain. Thanks to the amazing modeling abilities of these three girls, every shot was a winner and we were able to beat the storm. Congratulations Sherwood girls! May you continue to find success in all of your future endeavors.

Cynthia’s Bridal Session
August 23rd, 2010When you mix a beautiful venue, a stunning bride and a gorgeous Texas sun set sunset… a great photo sessions is bound to happen. Shooting Cynthia was a pleasure. She allowed us to get creative and have fun. It’s easy to see why… from her funky hair pieces down to her wild pink shoes, we had a wide range of possibilities. This is one of those bridal sessions we will be talking about for a while!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Luisa from ‘The Event’. Luisa does an amazing job managing ‘The Event’ and went above and beyond to make sure not only Cynthia, but we as well, were taken care of. Without hesitation we recommend ’The Event’ and their dedicated staff. We were truly in awe of their attention to detail and the way they cater their guest without hesitation. Amazing job, Luisa! We look forward to working with you again. (There has not been nor will there be any compensation for mentioning ‘The Event’ or the staff at this location.)

Regina’s Bridal Session
August 19th, 2010We have been anxiously waiting to post these pictures since May. We had an absolute blast photographing Regina and couldn’t wait to share these photos!
Regina is one of the most beautiful people we have ever met: both inside and out. From the moment she arrived she was absolutely beaming and couldn’t wait to get started. Even with a heat index of 110 and extremely high humidity, she kept her poise and positive attitude the entire time. Regina is a natural model and made our job incredibly easy.
Congratulations on your recent nuptials, we wish you and Cesar the best!

Portraits – Erica
June 17th, 2010When we asked Erica what story she wanted her pictures to tell, she said she wanted her pictures to portray her personality; fun, funky, flirty, retro-esque, loud and daring. Eric is all these attributes wrapped up into one spunky lady. We had a blast mixing things up and jumping around; she looked fabulous in any situation we could think of.
We were all covered in mud and stickers when we ended the shoot. Erica’s great work ethic and willingness to dive into whatever situation we put her in made this photo session possible. All in all, it was a very fun day!

Portrait Teaser – Erica
June 9th, 2010We had a blast on our latest project. It included a shack, septic tank, tunnels, mud, bugs… oh my!
Erica was so much fun to work with. She has a great work ethic and isn’t afraid to jump in the mud and get dirty.
We were so excited after the shoot, we couldn’t wait to post photos.

WBCA’s Air Show
February 15th, 2010Sunday was a beautiful day for being outdoors and celebrating Valentine’s Day; or how some of my friends like to call it, “Single Awareness Day”. I had a chance to go to my first air show and we all had fun despite the slight warm weather. For those don’t know what WBCA, it’s basically 30 days of fun activities around Laredo, Texas. Click here for more info about Washington’s Birthday Celebration (WBCA).
Here’s Erin and Matthew donating to “Laredo 4 Haiti”; one of many local organizations working hard to help.
The air show also included the performance of Franklin’s Flying Circus & Air Show.
